CanSat project

A CanSat is a type of payload used to teach space technology. It is similar to the technology used in miniaturized satellites. The main constraint of a CanSat is that the payload is required to fit inside the volume of a typical soda can (66mm diameter and 115mm height) and have a mass below 350g. The CanSats was deployed from small water rocket to a height of 100m. The CanSats are equipped with a recovery system, usually a parachute, to limit damage upon recovery and to allow the CanSat to be reused. Designed and developed Cansat which measures the atmospheric temperature, pressure, humidity and CO2 100 meters from the ground and send housekeeping data. On contact with the ground it can work as a rover sending the housekeeping mentioned above data with a live video stream of the area. Below is the concept of the CanSat designed, unfortunately no pictures available.
